The HUMBABE DYNASTY LEAGUE (HDL) is a mix between a full-fledged dynasty fantasy baseball league and a traditional keeper league, following a custom Head-to-Head Points scoring system. Managers are allowed to retain fifteen (15) MLB keeper players and eight (8) Minor League keeper players from season-to-season, therefore, roster building and rebuilding is primarily done via trades, free agency and annual Free Agent/Rookie drafts.

Week Seven & Eight Recaps
2023 First Year Player Draft Preview Dylan Crews, Louisiana State University Outfielder, appears to be the ultimate prize of the 2023 MLB First Year Player Draft. Possessing a 70-grade Hit tool, 60-grade Power, and 60-grade Speed, Crews will translate beautifully to the fantasy world and could make a slam-dunk first overall pick in the 2023 HumBabe FYP Draft as well. Other prospects worth consideration: Paul Skenes (LSU RHP), Wyatt Langford (Florida OF), Walker Jenkins (HS OF), and Max Clark (HS OF). Major League Baseball will hold their draft from July 9 to July 11 and HumBabe Dynasty will follow with…

Week Five & Six Recaps
Trade Market Heating Up Six executed trades to this point in the 2023 HumBabe Dynasty Season – compared to just three at this stage of the 2022 Season. Max Muncy found new life when he suited up for the Brooklyn Robins, now averaging 5 points per game. Logan O’Hoppe unfortunately suffered, what could end up being, a season ending injury after he was acquired by the Eastside Bombers (an excellent Dynasty add nonetheless). Then the Hard Ball Lords of Destruction started wheeling and dealing. Participant to each of the last four executed trades, LoD (for short) has made the following…

Week Three & Four Recaps
Hot Start for Jackal Attack The 2023 Jackal Attack is off to a 4 – 0 start, leading the Basket Catch League, matched only by the Shot Call League’s 4 – 0 Orlando Splitters. Bo Bichette leads a collection of seven players that have eclipsed the 100-point threshold already this season for Jackal – including Nolan Gorman (108.5 pts) and Sonny Gray (127 pts), two pleasant surprises to this point. Notorious for never fielding a Catcher, Jackal Attack’s GM was thought to have been kidnapped when Jackal claimed Francisco Alvarez off the Waiver Wire. Don’t worry though, Alvarez is safely…

Week Two Recap
Battle in the Bay The Golden City v. Say Hey Match-Up of the Week, otherwise referred to as the “Battle in the Bay” due o a mutual interest in the San Francisco Giants, couldn’t determine a victor until late Sunday afternoon. The Golden City Gatekeepers fielded six players in the Baltimore Orioles / Chicago White Sox Sunday game, including both starting pitchers (Dylan Cease and Grayson Rodriguez) and the entire White Sox outfield (Oscar Colas, Eloy Jimenez, and Luis Robert). While none of those performances particularly stood out, they simply outnumbered the Say Hey Kids. Say Hey fell victim to…

Week One Recap
Brooklyn Takes Down The Champ The LeBronto Blue James paraded three League Championship crowns atop their hats as they trotted into the 2023 season, and started their quest for a four-peat against the Brooklyn Robins. Apparently, the Robins turned a blind eye to LeBronto’s trophy case, or maybe they had a chip on their shoulder, because they took names in Week One. Matt Chapman (70.5 pts) and Will Smith, C (65.5 pts) led a Brooklyn hitting effort that eclipsed LeBronto’s hitters by 135 points. LeBronto maintained an edge on the mound, posting 317 pitching points compared to Brooklyn’s 303, but…
